Feb. 24, 2009 – Enid M. Hennemann of La Grande Princess died at her residence on Feb. 24. She was 82 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Violet deLagarde, Ethel Hennemann, Denise Ellis and Ivy H. Dorsey; sons: Rueben Irwin, Olaf Jr., Samuel, Lawrence, Kai and Owen Hennemann; grandchildren: Adrian, Jonathan and Jacquelynne deLagarde, Robert, Ruben Jr. and Lakisha Irwin, Carl Luis and Michael Hennemann, David Hennemann, Laurissa Ellis, Kadeem Hennemann, Richards Dorsey Jr., Adrian Gillem, and Miguel and Eric Hennemann; and great-grandchildren: Christopher and Maxwell de Lagarde, Carlos, Isabelle and Nicasio Henneman. She is also survived by aunts: Beulah Briscoe and Carmen Williams; uncle: Henry Williams; special cousins: Glen and Idona Byron, and family; Gregory and James Miller, Veronica Blackwood and family, and Arlene Lucas; special friends and their families: Helen Roebuck, Asta James, Beatrice Emanuel, Rev. Thelma Youngblood and Agalia Harrigan; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
