Department of Labor to Host Business After Hours

Sept. 22, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Department of Labor will host the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Paradise Gate Havensight.
This is Labor Management Awareness Month, and the DOL will showcase their new Web site and new assessment software geared towards employers and job seekers. Sen. Shawn-Michael Malone also will be introducing nine honorees for this year's young entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who have taken the risk and been successful as owners of their businesses.
Members, their guests and the public are invited. There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, a 50/50 raffle and the Chamber Famous $2 Bar.
