Sept. 18, 2008 – Henrietta Beatrice Brown Claxton died on Sept. 12, at the age of 84.
She is survived by her caretaker, Janet Smith; sister, Lucilla Williams; nephew, Trevor Watkins; adopted granddaughter, Latoya Sealey; and friends: St. John's Church, Rev. Wilfred Daniel, Children of Mary, Daughters of the King, Episcopal Church Women, Episcopal Church Youth, Men's Chorale, Vestry members, Church family and Herbert Grigg staff; as well as other relatives too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 11 a.m. and a funeral service at noon, on Friday, Sept. 26, at St. John's Episcopal Church, St. Croix.
A second viewing will be held at 2 p.m., and a funeral service at 3 p.m., on Antigua, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Anglican Parham in Antigua.
