Vonseeko Adolphus Garvey Dies at 74

Sept. 10, 2008 – Vonseeko Adolphus Garvey, also known as "Seeko" or "Mr. Gravey," of Estate Peers Rest died on Sept. 2, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 74 years old.
He is survived by his daughters: Juliette and Eslyn Warner, and Merlene and Patricia Garvey; sons: St. Elmo Warner, Stedroy Morton, Charles, Everson and Stephen Garvey; grandchildren: Malik, Stephanie, Marcus, O'Jazz, Deshawn, Deonte, Azaria, Lia, Daniel, Karl, Chante, Chanese, Everson Jr, Brianna, Jelisha, Jeremy, Jose, Juliann, Joanna, Tracia, Charlene and Keva; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by stepchildren: Sylvia, Pearl, Franklyn, Wendell and Robert; sisters: Beatrice and Darlene; special friends: Theresa Solis, Dr. Charles Perez, Pastor Thomas Douglas, Violet Chapman and Cardrington Cannoneer; cousin: Pearlene Walters; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Witnesses For Christ Apostolic Church. It will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
