Primitivo Colón Guzman Dies at 83

Sept. 8, 2008 – World War II veteran Primitivo Colón Guzman of Estate Whim died on Sept. 2. He was 83 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria Colón; daughter, Ruth N. Colón; grandchildren: Carla Alexandra Corchado, Carla De Los and Angeles Corchado; sisters: Gloria Colón and Matile Colón; and brothers: Domingo Colón and Manuel Colón; He is also survived by nieces: Teresita Soto, Norma Soto, Clorinda Brim, Luz Nieves, Rual Lugo, Victoria Lugo and Israel Rivera; special friends: Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Melendez, Norma and Angel Morales; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Iglesia Pentecostal Justicia de Dios (Clifton Hill), followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery in the Veterans Section.
Professional funeral arrangements are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
