Sept. 8, 2008 – Ivy Roberts of Estate Strawberry died on Aug. 27 at her residence. She was 81 years old.
She is survived by her son, Albert Roberts; brothers: Lassington and Frank Roberts; nieces and their families: Grethlyn Grant, Joycelyn Henry, Maudlyn Martin, Winifred Joseph, Ella Mae Merrick, Rhonie Nathaniel, Jacqueline Roberts, Valerie Roberts, Yvonne Roberts, Olive Fauquhar and Janice Roberts; and nephews and their families: Stevenson Thomas, Adric Grant, Renson Grant, Charles Grant, Juno Roberts, Fitzgerald Roberts, Patrick Roberts, Wilden Gardner and Ken Manix. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends including members from Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 12, at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
