Aug. 28, 2008 – The Botanical Garden will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. Visitors can stroll around the 16-acre property following a self-guided tour map. The Museum Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"The garden is open every day of the year except Christmas. We strive to be as accessible as possible to our residents and visitors. Our Museum Store has some unique gifts and beautiful botanically themed merchandise. Those who just want to shop in the store need not pay the admission fee," said Administrative Director Lesley Hoffman.
Virgin Islands residents get a special break in the admission fee on Sundays. "We offer V.I. residents half-price admission each Sunday, and children under 12 are admitted free," Hoffman said.
