Who Do We Believe?

Dear Source:

Here is a case in which you decide, trust our friendly oil refinery or your own good judgement.
"The exact price Hovensa pays for oil is a closely guarded business secret, but spokesmen for the refinery have said it is tied to and very close to the published market spot prices."
Oh really?
So who do you believe, a spokesperson for Hovensa as to the real price of Venezuela Tia Juana light crude that it purchases for the refinery or do we renegotiate for more than $2.00 a barrel with this revenue stream and move in the right direction of becoming less dependant on oil and more on alternative energy? Governor de Jongh and the members of the National Governors Association (NGA) urged Congress to continue for at least 5 more years tax provisions that encourage the development of renewable energy sources and promote energy efficiency. Lets hope that the oil companies did not get to the members of Congress before the NGA did.
