Aug. 5, 2008 — The medical staff of the Schneider Regional Medical Center wishes to inform the public that the recent events in our facility have not diminished the commitment that the medical staff, nursing and ancillary personnel have for the people of the Virgin Islands. These recent events were shocking and equally disturbing to us. This will not change our relationship that we now have with you. We will maintain excellence in our care, build on the successes of the past and continue our work to make Schneider Regional Medical Center the best health-care facility in the Eastern Caribbean.
