Corporations Are Reminded of Franchise Tax and Filing Requirement

June 26, 2008 – Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis reminds corporate citizens that the deadline to satisfy the franchise tax and annual filing requirement of Titles 13 and 26 of the Virgin Islands Code is June 30. This applies to every registered corporation, LLC, LLP and LLLP, according to a press release from Lt. Gov. Gregory R. Francis.
Failure to comply with the annual requirements will result in the assessment of penalties and interest or even administrative/involuntary dissolution.
Franchise taxes can be paid at the office of the lieutenant governor.
