Education Urges Teacher Applicants to Submit Documents

June 10, 2008 – Qualified individuals interested in joining the VIrgin Islands Department of Education as a teacher are urged to submit their applications and all required documentations for timely processing, according to a press release from Education.
"We are now at the peak of our recruitment year. It is an extremely busy time for the division as we continue to focus on filling positions in several critical areas as well as ensuring that the necessary coverage of teachers for all territorial schools is complete. We are asking interested teacher applicants as well as those who have begun the process to ensure that their completed applications have been submitted with accompanying documents. Applications will not be processed for individuals with incomplete files," according to Education Human Resources Director, Alscess Lewis-Brown.
Education offices are open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday .
