May 19, 2008 – Melonie Meselina Jeffers Simmonds of Brookshill, Frederiksted, died on Tuesday, May 6, at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Elroy Simmonds; mother, Vernareen O'Reilley; stepfathers: Reginald Hector and Howard O'Reilley; stepdaughters: Leah Simmonds Seymore, Xulanda and Khnuma Simmonds; sister: Melocent Scotland; and brothers: Odel, Leonaldo, Harcourt and Tedson Hector. She is also survived by uncles: Rudolph, Harris and Oneal E. Arthurton, Joseph and Vincent M. Jeffers; stepbrothers: Gian O'Reilley, Elvis Taylor and Dave Clarke; other sisters: Valarie March, Carolyn Webster, Messelina Saldue and Maria Perkins Lane; stepsisters: Anette Francis, Denise Perkins, Cheryl Rawlins and Ophelia Hector; special friends: Enea, Kirston, Omar Alexander, Julio and Marko Vila; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 21, at the Way of the Cross Baptist Church.
