May 16, 2008 – The farming community is advised that the abattoir in Estate Nadir, St. Thomas, will be closed during the week of May 19-23, according to a press release from the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture.
This closure is necessary in order to facilitate repairs and improvements at the abattoir. The facility will re-open for business on Monday, May 26.
The staff and management of the Department of Agriculture regret any inconvenience that this closure may cause.
