May 15, 2008 – Los Angeles and New York actor/director Marc William Fellner will be teaching adult acting classes through The Pistarckle Theater. The class will workshop material in preparation for the 2009 season. In class, the actors will attack tough material in a safe and fun environment, exploring character through movement and voice. All of the material worked on in class will be considered for the theater's main stage.
Developing the pieces with the actors will be an important step in creating the season. Fellner has worked with Oscar and Tony Award winners Anthony Hopkins, John Rubenstein and Mel Shapiro. One of his students, Devon Conte, just finished filming "The Changeling," which was directed by Clint Eastwood. Fellner will also be directing for The Pistarckle Theater and will be looking to cast from the class. All levels are welcome and will be challenged. The classes will be held in the evenings from July 16 through Aug. 27. The cost is $210.
