Richard Vialet Dies at 78

Feb. 13, 2008 – Richard Vialet, also known as "Watchie," died on Feb. 8, in Orlando, Fla. He was 78 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Vialet; sons: Richard Jr., Jason and Jeremy Vialet; daughters: Leonicia Vialet Niles and Laverne Vialet Morrison; stepson, Richard A. Walker; adopted daughter, Jemma Moses; and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters: Elmira Harper, Doris Henneman, Ilva Benjamin, Elsa McBean, Shirley Adams and Monica Abigail Frett; brothers: Roy, Louis and Jacques Vialet and Hezekiah Samuel; aunt, Elise Vialet; uncles: Susthens and Theodore Vialet; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 22, at the Assembly of God, Contant. It will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
