Feb. 6, 2008 – Jeremiah Clinton Hassan, also known as "King" or "Papas," of Hermon Hill died on Feb. 1, at his residence. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Felina Leah Hassan; children: Eslyn Albert, Eileen Richards, and Joycelyn, Beverly, Princess June, Samuel and Lenard Hassan; sisters: Angela Augstine, Clarise Felix and Isabel Lousain; and brother, Johnson Hassan. He is also survived by granchildren: Curleen Rogers, Curlita Rogers-Saunders, Joy Richardson, Yolanda Lopez, John Richardson Jr., Tricia Hendrickson, Alison Richards, Sheena-Lee Henry, and Tamiaka, Elijah, Tatianna, Isiah, Samantha, India, Alicia, Rick, Ryan and Randy Hassan, and Ryan and Michele Pope; and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 11, at Grace Baptist Central Church followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
