Cynthia Helena Henley Halliday Dead at 91

Feb. 6, 2008 – Cynthia Helena Henley Halliday, also known as "Ms. Cynthie," of Whim Gardens died on Jan. 26, at her residence. She was 91 years old.
She is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Encarnacion; grandchildren: Leatrice Potter-James, Donna Brady-Jackson, Celeste Cherubin, Enid V. Melchoir and Jacqueline Emmanuel; great-grandchildren: Patricia A. Moise, Lawrence B. Hodge Jr., Tamara James, Anthony Melchoir, Jamar Brady, Audi Emmanuel, Jamale Moore, Florisa James, Michelle Hanley, Nicole Brady, Z'amani Emmanuel, Sharon Gomes, Desiree Bailey, Justin Jackson and Raine White; 10 great great-grandchildren; and 1 great great great-grandchild. She is also survived by a nephew, Clarance Michael Jr.; special friends: Mary Berrios, Ernestine Snypes, Julia Panky; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will take place at Frederiksted Cemetery.
