Dear Source:
I was saddened to hear of Mr. Woods' passing. My prayers are with his family. I am a former chemistry student of his. I credit Mr Woods and a handful of other teachers at Central High for giving me the boldness to further my education.
If my memory serves me well, I think he wrote a recommendation letter that helped get me into Boston University. He was a great teacher.
Thank you Mr. Woods for sharing the gift of knowledge.
