Huntsville Festival Village Schedule Released

Dec. 27, 2008 — The Crucian Christmas Festival has released the schedule of bands and artists performing in Huntsville Festival Village. The line-up includes local bands and bands from Santo Domingo, St. Kitts, Dominica, Tortola and St. Thomas.
The Food, Arts and Crafts Fair begins at noon Wed. Jan. 2. Later that day at 8 p.m. The Mighty Sparrow and King Short Shirt are the special guest performers at the Calypso Monarch Finals at the Island Center for the Performing Arts. The excitement continues that night in Huntsville with Flag Night. Be sure to bring your flags and represent your island!
Jouvert erupts at 6 a.m. on Jan. 3. Later that night, in Huntsville, witness the splendor of the Junior and Adult King and Queen of the Bands. Festival wraps up Friday with the Children's parade and the and Adult's parade on Saturday.
