What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Nov. 28, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2. This Sunday we will feature music by the Eagles, the Bonedaddys, Joni Mitchell, Zac Harmon, Ben Lee, Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Long Road Out of Eden" by the Eagles. It's been awhile since we have seen a CD full of new Eagles songs. They have made up for this with a two-CD set chock full of new songs. The new Eagles release is reminiscent of the country-rock sound of their early releases.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Waterslide" by the Bonedaddys. The Bonedaddys are a roots- rocking band with a blues influence and a smorgasbord of sounds.
We play new music from Joni Mitchell, Misty River, Riders in the Sky, Steve Forbert and more.
We also play music from Nanci Griffith, the Phantom Blues Band, Rita Coolidge and more.
We celebrate the birthday of Pops Staples of the Staple Singers.
We include music from blues and gospel artist Diunna Greenleaf and blues artist Zac Harmon, both of whom will be performing at the St. John Christmas Festival on Dec. 2. We also include music from Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats, who are touring through the Virgin Islands. We also play music from Kacey Cubero, who is in the midst of her V.I. tour playing at various venues.
We give away a copy of the new release from roots-rocker Ben Lee and blues CDs from Ana Popovic and Jason Ricci & New Blood.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
