Nov. 27, 2007 – Minerva Dorothea Petersen Callwood, better known as "Dorothy," of Estate Hogensborg, Frederiksted, died on Nov. 22, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. She was 74 years old.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Augustus Urgent; daughter, Beverly Arlene Urgent; step-daughters: Ruby Urgent Spann and Dorothy Urgent Jensen; and grandchildren: Renesha Beverly Urgent, Josie Urgent, Kim Urgent, Helen Spann, Sylvia Jensen, Huey Jensen, Diane Jensen. She is also survived by brothers: Melvin Petersen, Donald Petersen and Mapleton Lawrence; sisters: Beryl Doward, L. Alicia Petersen, Maud L. Petersen Williams, Rev. Florence C. Petersen and Lauretta Petersen; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Frederiksted. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment follows at Kingshill Cemetery.
