In recognition of Veterans Day, the Virgin Islands National Park has declared Sunday, Nov. 11, to be "Fee Free Day" for veterans and their families. On this day, the park will admit all U.S. Military veterans, current members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families to Trunk Bay Beach on St. John free-of-charge.
Trunk Bay Beach is one of the most visited beaches on St. John, and is home to an underwater trail where swimmers are able to snorkel over the reef and read the plaques, which identify coral and fish along the trail.
