Air Force Airman Eugene R. Washington/St. Croix

Nov. 1, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Air Force Airman Eugene R. Washington has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, military customs and courtesies, and performed drill and ceremony marches, He received instruction in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Melvin Forbes of Royal Manor and Jennifer Queeley, both of Christiansted, Virgin Islands.
Washington is a 2007 graduate of the St. Croix Educational Complex, Frederiksted, V.I.
Army National Guard Pvt. Eldorana Weeks/St. Croix

Nov. 7, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army National Guard Pvt. Eldorana Weeks has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. She received instruction and practice in physical fitness, basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Weeks is the daughter of Albert Weeks of St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Army National Guard Pvt. Klaryssa J. Simon/St. Croix

Nov. 7, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army National Guard Pvt. Klaryssa J. Simon has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. She received instruction and practice in physical fitness, basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
She is the granddaughter of Margaret St. Vall of Williams Delight, Frederiksted, Virgin Islands.
Simon is a 2007 graduate of the St. Croix Educational Complex, Kingshill, V.I.
Army National Guard Pvt. Sheronette M. Mills/St. Croix

Nov. 7, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army National Guard Pvt. Sheronette M. Mills has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. She received instruction and practice in physical fitness, basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
She is the daughter of Chesley Mills and Cassandra Richardson of L.B.J. Gardens, both of St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Mills is a 2006 graduate of St. Croix Central High School.
Army Pvt. Jonathan K. McKenzie/St. Thomas

Nov. 9, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army Pvt. Jonathan K. McKenzie has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. He received instruction and practice in physical fitness, basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
He is the son of Lucian Stout and grandson of Laurice Fahie, both of Hospital Ground, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
McKenzie is a 2007 graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School, St. Thomas.

Army Pfc. Tanya K. Hodge/St. Thomas

Nov. 9, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army Pfc. Tanya K. Hodge has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. She received instruction and practice in physical fitness, basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
She is the daughter of Bertilia Pacquette of Anna’s Retreat, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.
Hodge is a 2007 graduate of Ivanna Eudora Kean High School, St. Thomas.

Nov. 26, 2007 (Army & Air Force Hometown News) – Army National Guard Pfc. Asheba N. Benjamin has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. She received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, physical fitness, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
She is the daughter of Yvette Benjamin and granddaughter of Christinita Benjamin, both of Auero Diaz Heights, Kingshill, Virgin Islands.
Benjamin is a 2006 graduate of St. Croix Central High School, Kingshill.
