What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Oct. 30, 2007 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. This Sunday we will feature music by Diana Krall, Boulder Acoustic Society, Rufus Wainwright, Big Joe Turner, Merle Haggard and more.
Due to the end of Daylight Savings Time, the show will now air from 2-4 p.m., every Sunday.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "The Very Best of Diana Krall" by jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall. Diana's new CD is a fine overview of her career and includes many of her most popular recordings.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Now" by the Boulder Acoustic Society, who show off their excellent musicianship on this release. It is hard to classify this group, but having an opportunity to hear them is a great pleasure.
We play new music from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Rufus Wainwright, John Sebastian and David Grisman, John Lilly and more.
We also play music from Joe Ely, Townes Van Zandt, Delbert McClinton, Merle Haggard, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Big Joe Turner, Chuck Prophet, Chris Difford and blues artist Sonny Rhodes.
We include music from jazz artist, Steve Simon, who will be performing at the St. John Christmas Festival on Dec. 1. We also include music from Kermit Ruffins, who will be playing at the Blue Bay Jazz Festival on St. Croix in two weeks.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
