UVI Trustees to Meet on St. Thomas
The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees will hold its quarterly meeting at 9 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Administration and Conference Center, St. Thomas campus. The meeting will convene with regular session agenda items.
President LaVerne E. Ragster will give the President's Report, followed by Chairman's Comments from Board Chairman Dr. Auguste E. Rimpel Jr. Following the chairman, the board will consider the one item that requires action: the Fiscal Year 2009 budget appropriation request. The Research and Technology Park Board will give an update. The board will also review a presentation of UVI's key performance indicators. Much of the meeting will include discussion of consent agenda items pertaining to many ongoing university projects.
