Oct. 30, 2007 – George A. Henry of Mars Hill died on Oct. 20, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 86 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Marion V. Henry; daughters: Angela Nelson, Annette O. Henry, Audrey M. Henry and Alicia L. Henry; sisters: Hortencia A. McIntosh and Golda E. Thomas; brothers: Leander Henry and Benjamin Balfour. He is also survived by grandchildren: Patricia and Elton Clendenen, Maria Henry, Juliandrea Toomer, Laurel, Bernel, George and Lamuel Smithen, Audrey Rayford, George and Jerry Nelson, and Zenon, Zeno and Angelicia Santiago; adopted granddaughter, Adrienne Arnold; and eight great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Friedensberg Moravian Church, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
