Smai Tawi Ari Ankh Ka–Yoga Classes with NebKaRa C. Christopher, CYI and MP. Classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m., and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. Learn basic to advanced breathing, relaxation, yoga, healing and rhythmic movement techniques for body, mind and spirit.
Martial Arts and Instinctive self-defense classes with Dr. Arthur Dennery of The University of the Streets. Classes on Mondays at 4 p.m., and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Learn basic aikido, karate and ju-jitsu martial arts; self-defense and self-discipline techniques. Five years and older.
Bamboula Dance Classes with Dr. ChenziRa Kahina. Classes on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. Learn cultural dance steps, musical rhythms and songs of Bamboula traditions of the Virgin Islands and abroad.
Caribbean Dance School Frederiksted Dance Classes: registration with CDS required. Call 778-8824. Classes on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:30-6:30 p.m., and Saturdays 2-4 p.m. Tuesdays: Afro-Caribbean with Curliss Solomon-John; Fridays: Modern Dance; and Saturdays: Ballet with Vanda Espinosa. Spiritual Inspirational Reasoning Sessions. Alternate Sundays, (Oct. 21, Nov. 4 and 18, Dec. 2, 16 and 30), at 10 a.m. Come, share and engage in fellowship and collective perspectives on life, wellness and spiritual issues.
