In 2008, Let's Get Rid of Them Too

Dear Source:
The vote to reject Dr. Spampinato as Education Commissioner came as no surprise after watching the attitudes and comments during the Legislature meeting on TV.
I hope the community has had enough of stagnant senators whose terms have continued through the descent of our education system over the years and has never been held accountable for being part of the problem. It's time to hold them accountable. We need fresh views on old problems in order to get out of the ruts and make real changes.
Maybe the time has come for another clean sweep of the senate by a loud resounding "enough is enough" vote. I will definitely not be a voter that will allow for stagnation and/or demise to continue with the same old, same old.
