Oct. 6, 2007 – Education Acting Commissioner, Dr. Lynn Spampinato announces the second round of her 90-minute "Let's Talk" forums geared toward encouraging and increasing dialogue between the department and all education stakeholders to include students, parents, teachers, administrators and the general public. The schedule of meetings is as follows:
Monday, Oct. 15 – Charlotte Amalie High School – Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium, St. Thomas
Wednesday, Oct. 17 – Curriculum Center at Kingshill, St. Croix
Friday, Oct. 19 – VI Legislature, Cruz Bay, St. John
"During this series of meetings I am looking to meet with public school Librarians, representatives of the territory's public libraries and associated programs, however all community persons are invited to join the meeting," Spampinato said. All meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m.
