Gifford Defoe Dead at 63

Oct. 2, 2007 – Gifford Defoe died on Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his wife: Angelic Defoe; daughters: Minister Gloria K. La-Viniere and Brenda F. Defoe; son, Curtis Bernard; sisters: Theresa Gussie, Angella Defoe, Wanitta Defoe, Juliana Angel, Judith and Annioe Defoe, and Prisca Victorine; brother: Emanuel Defoe; and aunt, Carmen Fountaine. Other survivors include special friends: Edwards Hendrickson, Phillip Melius, Joe Simelda, Joe Berkitt, Conrad Farrell, Joseph Mitchell, Martha Regis, Harriet Boniface, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Monday, Oct. 9, at Victory Believers Church in Peter's Rest. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
