Alert: Leak Repairs Will Interrupt Water Service Tuesday

Oct. 1, 2007 — Maintenance crews will repair a water leak affecting Vesta Gade Pump Station on St. Thomas Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., interrupting service for customers in Vesta Gade, Agnes Fancy, Nordsidevei and surrounding areas.
The leak was identified during a recent leak-detection survey of the water system, according to a news release from the V.I. Water and Power Authority.
"Every effort will be made to restore water service as quickly as possible," the release said. "WAPA apologizes for any inconvenience that may occur as a result of this maintenance work."
