Brief: Corrections Officer Reported Killed

Oct. 1, 2007 — Little was known Sunday night about the apparent shooting death of a Bureau of Corrections officer on St. Croix.
Reports said police were called at 10:07 p.m. about the incident, which was said to have occurred in the driveway of the officer's home in the Smithfield area of Frederiksted.
Police began their investigation some time before midnight.
