Sept. 6, 2007 – Claris Winnifred John of Estate Pearl died on Sept. 1, at her residence, at age 85.
She is survived by her daughters: Anette Carew, Elizabeth John, Yvette Harris, Sundrane John-Camacho and Annola John-Watson; sons: Philip, Bevan and Robert John; and grandchildren: Julie Camacho, Terrance Carew, Brian Blackman, Pselane Morris, Jean Lebrun, Leah, Leo and Emanuel Camacho, Armeida, Amanda, Natasha, Lana, Jason, Alexis, Bradon, Alicia, Christina and Shanice John, Jason Glaude, Simone, Michael, Leona, Sheena, Jay and Kiana Watson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Joseph; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. The family wishes to thank the Department of Human Services- Nutritional Meal and Elderly Care Services for all their assistance.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 10, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the chapel. Internment will be at the Kingshill Cemetery.
