CAHS Reporting Schedule for Students

Aug. 15, 2007 – Parents, students and school-based personnel are advised of the upcoming dates for orientation and class schedule distribution for the 2007-2008 school year, according to a press release from Principal Jeanette Smith of Charlotte Amalie High School.
Smith said, "Orientations and schedule distributions will take place beginning Monday, Aug. 27 through Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 in the school's Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium. Attendance at orientation is mandatory for both students and their parents. All students must report in proper school uniform." The reporting schedule is as follows:
All staff, with the exception of teachers who are scheduled to be at the BCB meeting, will meet in the auditorium at 8 a.m., Friday, Aug. 24
All 12th graders at 8 a.m., Monday, Aug. 27
All 9th graders with last names A – L at 8 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28
All 9th graders with last names M – Z at Noon, Tuesday, Aug. 28
All 10th graders at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29
All S.P.I.S. and M.I.S. IV special needs students at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29
All 11th graders at 8 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 30
Classes begin for all students at 8:10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31
Students are required to present a photocopy of their updated immunization record and pay the following fees: $10 for ID, $14 for school accident insurance, $10 for PTSA dues and $6 for an assignment book.
Returning students will be required to take care of all outstanding obligations prior to the receipt of a class schedule.
There will be no bus service available on Aug. 27-30.
