Board of Realtors Awards Two Scholarships

Aug. 14, 2007 – On Friday, June 15, the St. Thomas Board of Realtors awarded the "Evelyn Moran 2007 Scholarship" in the amount of $2,000 to Vanessa Malone, a graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School and the "Jacqueline Morgan 2007 Scholarship" in the amount of $2,000 to Amber Richards, a graduate of All Saints Cathedral School. They received the awards for their 500 word essays on the topic: Keeping in mind the Historical Society's aim to preserve our architectural designs, how would you improve the buildings in our downtown are, clean up the vagrancy and restore the wonderful nightlife of days gone by?
Janice Popo, board member, and Amalie Parrott-Rosado, board president, presented the awards.
