Head Start's Parent Orientations Scheduled

July 12, 2007 – The Head Start Program will be conducting its parent orientations for the parents/guardians of all new and returning students for the upcoming school year, according to a press release from St. Thomas/St. John-The Department of Human Services. Orientation dates for parents/guardians only are as follows:
Thursday, Aug. 16 – Town Centers
? Knud Hansen Complex I and II
? Minnetta Mitchell I, II, III, IV and V
? Lindbergh Bay
? Oswald Harris Court I, II and III
? Savan
? Developmental Learning Center – Partnership
Friday, Aug. 17 – Country Centers
? Bergs Home/Bovoni I and II
? Fort Mylner
? Tutu III
? Wilhelm George I and II
Also, there will be meetings on St. Thomas and St. John held from 10 a.m. to noon, on Monday, Aug. 20. The St. Thomas meeting will be held at the DHS, Sugar Estate Complex, located next to First Street in Sugar Estate. The St. John meeting will be held at the DHS conference room, Cruz Bay Center.
Parents and guardians of all new and returning students are urged to attend this very important meeting. There will be refreshments, door prizes and giveaways for the first 50 fathers in attendance.
