July 12, 2007 The Virgin Islands Department of Health is urging parents/guardians to take advantage of immunization screenings for their children offered by the DOH early, and beat the rush associated with the start of the new school year.
Immunization clinics are accepting walk-in clients now through Thursday, Aug. 9. Thereafter, vaccinations will be provided by appointment for a one-month period from Aug. 13, through Sept. 13, according to a press release from the Health Department.
Clients should call the following numbers between 2-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, to schedule appointments.
