June 27, 2007 – Glenn Gumbs, better known as "Culture," died on June 25, at his residence on Kirwan Terrace. He was 41 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Regna Gumbs; sister, Monica Gumbs; and brothers: James, Cleophas, Roy, Roosevelt, Lesley, Kenneth and Dennis Gumbs. He is also survived by his aunts: Irene, Adora, Trescelia, Veronica, Harriet, Adlina, Daisy and Ann Gumbs; uncles: Calvin, Walwyn, Stanley and Manchester Gumbs; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 6-7 p.m., on Friday, June 29, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place from 8:30-9:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 30, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, followed by a funeral service at 9:30 a.m., in the church.
There will also be a viewing held from 1-2:30 p.m., Monday, July 2, at Roy's Funeral Home in Anguilla. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., at St. Mary's Anglican Church, in Anguilla. Interment will be at St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery.
