St. John Singers to Perform Spring Concert

March 29, 2007 – The St. John Singers will present their Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 14, at the Emmaus Moravian Church in Coral Bay, St. John.
The featured guests will be The Santa Cruz Brass, who will be performing a variety of classical and popular pieces with conductor John Cahill and vocalist Detra Davis.
The women of the St. John Singers will perform the first part of Francesco Durante's "Mass for Three Voices," a complex early Baroque work which is rarely heard. The choir will sing selections spanning several centuries, including the music of Mozart, English folk songs and traditional Negro spirituals.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for students and will be available at the door.
