Dear Source:
I have been a resident of St. Thomas for 10 years. Although I try to avoid going downtown when the cruise ships are in I have had many occasions to do so. I have never been hassled by the barkers. They are always friendly, polite and very helpful. The worst issue for me going downtown are the taxi drivers. They are neither friendly nor polite. They take all the parking spaces so although I have a car I have to take a safari to get downtown. In terms of "too many" where is the limit on taxis?
