May 30, 2006 — As a result of a lengthy search for a missing passenger on its last cruise, which delayed the normal departure from New York, the Carnival Legend will arrive this week on St. Thomas on Friday, instead of Thursday as originally scheduled.
The ship will now arrive at 7 a.m. from San Juan and depart at 2 p.m. for New York. This early departure will allow the vessel to return to New York in time to begin its next cruise. The ship is then scheduled to return to St. Thomas on Friday, June 9.
