Veterans Affairs Will Pay Tuitions for UVI Course

May 12, 2006 – The University of the Virgin Islands is offering a course in Web page design through the continued education lifelong learning program during the months of May and June on the St. Croix campus only, according to a press release from the Office of Veteran Affairs.
Director Justin Harrigan Sr. said, "The Office of Veterans Affairs will pay the tuition for this course for veterans whose "home of record" was the Virgin Islands when they entered the armed forces; this is pursuant to Section 471 of Chapter 33, Title 17, V.I. Code, as amended."
