May 8, 2006 – The Prevention Specialists present the first V.I. ChiWalking and ChiRunning Clinic sponsored by VI Pace Runners.

Free Intro session from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at UVI-Cooperative Extension Services REC Room 133.
Half-day ChiRunning Workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on May 14, at the Christiansted Wharf. The cost is $50.
Half-day ChiWalking Workshop from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., on May 14, at the Christiansted Wharf. The cost is $50.
ChiRunning combines the inner focus and flow of T'ai Chi with running to create a revolutionary running form that takes the pounding, pain and potential damage out of the sport of running.

• Introduction to the ChiRunning form
• Posture, Lean, Lift
• Learning to use your gears
• Run various speeds while conserving energy
• Run injury-free for the rest of your life
