Business Seminar on Procedures to Secure Federal Contracts

Jan. 26, 2006 – The UVI Small Business Development Center in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration present a seminar titled: "SBA's 8(a) Business Development and Procurement Program Orientations and Procedures to Secure Federal Government Contracts."
The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Legislature Conference Room in Cruz Bay, St. John. The presenter is Carl Christensen, project officer of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Pre-registration is required. Admission is free.
You don't have to be a big company to do business with the federal government. The basic process takes time to set up; however, the pay offs down the road can be substantial. Think about the possibility of having contracts with the federal government that could stabilize your cash flows and increase your bottom line! The federal government needs all kinds of products and services for its operations.
To pre-register or for more information on this seminar, call 776-3206 or fax 775-3756.
