V.I. Runners Honor Dr. King

Jan. 16, 2006 – In what has become an annual tribute, long distance runners ran 15.5 miles from Fort Christiansvern in Christiansted to Fort Frederick in Frederiksted Sunday morning in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Participants completing the non-competitive run were: Paul Radix, Central High School teacher and member of the V.I. National Guard; Luke Frederick, soccer referee, Nanthaniel Faulkenberry, triathlete and Hovensa employee; Heidi Snow, marathoner; Mark Kennedy, teacher at Good Hope School; Theresa Harper, marathoner and teacher at St. Croix Country Day School; Dr. Marlon Williams, vice-president, V.I. Olympic Committee, four-time Olympian and Wallace Williams, founder of the V.I.Pace Runners.
