District Board of Elections Advises on How to Vote

Jan. 12, 2006 – The St. Croix District Board of Elections will conduct a How Your Vote Counts Machine Demonstration and New Accessible Voting Device Technologies Presentation on Feb. 17 through 20, at the Agricultural Food Fair.
According to a press release from the Board of Elections, they will be conducting voter registration. All those who want to register must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications For Voting
a) Must be a citizen of the United States
b) Must be 18 years of age
c) Must meet the residency requirement
Residency Requirement
a) Must be residing in the territory at least 90 days before a primary election
b) Must be residing in the territory at least 90 days before a general election
c) Must be residing in the election district at least 90 days
Registration Documents
a) Birth certificate
b) Passport (United States)
c) Baptismal certificate (provided it has place and date of birth)
d) Naturalization certificate
e) Social Security card
