It's Deja Vu All Over Again

Dear Source:
Regarding George Miller's suggestion for putting the power lines in downtown Charlotte Amalie underground, I can only repeat Yogi Berra's, "It's deja vu all over again."
Back in the 1970's I recall commentary in the Daily News about the need to plant the power lines underground to eliminate their potential for damage to people and structures from downed wires or poles during hurricanes or other fierce storms. It is comforting to see how some things never change, and the tradition of government for those in office by those in office is still alive and well in America's Paradise. Be a pity if Government House and the Legislature ever did anything about this and other longstanding hazards. Let the tourists go to St. Maarten if they want fancy streets, and let Charlotte Amalie remain a thing of beauty flirting with disaster.
