Sept. 21, 2005 – "Glamour and Glitz for Carnival 2006!" will be the official theme for the upcoming carnival season, as reported in a press release from The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee. They congratulate Dulani Hill, a 15 year-old 10th grader at the Charlotte Amalie High School on St. Thomas, who submitted this winning theme, beat out 324 other entries submitted.
For his winning submission, Hill will receive a Carnival 2006 season pass for all paid Carnival Committee events.
