Sept. 9, 2005 – Virginia Mitchell, also known as "Jackie," died at her residence on Sept. 6, at the age of 86.
Survivors are her daughter, Terry Mitchell Rowe; her sister, Lillian Jackson of Baltimore, Md.; and her grandchild, Malika Hazill. Other survivors include nephews and nieces and the members of the Calvary Baptist Church.
There will be no viewing. A funeral service will be held on Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
