April 13, 2005 – Contestant number one is Shavon K. Christmas, 18, a senior at Ivanna Eudora Kean High School. Shavon's parents are Verlyn Thomas and Paul Christmas; her guardian is Merlyn George.
The Queen's Selection Show will be held beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Lionel Roberts Stadium.
